JAMMU: Dr Mubashar Mashqoor Mir, Founder & Chief Consultant of Cosmoweave Skin, Laser & Hair Transplant Centre, Jammu, has been conferred the Fellowship of the IMA Academy of Medical Specialities (FIAMS) at the Academy’s national convocation in Hubballi, Karnataka.
The fellowship was presented during AMSCON 2026 at Karnataka Medical College and Research Institute. Dr Mir is among the relatively few dermatologists from J&K to receive FIAMS.
An MD and DNB in Dermatology, MNAMS and Life Member of IMA-AMS, Dr Mir formerly served as Assistant Professor and In-charge HOD, Dermatology, GMC Udhampur. His principal interests include laser dermatology, acne-scar surgery, hair restoration and FUE, pigmentary disorders and aesthetic dermatology. His academic contributions include 22 publications, two dermatology books and chapters in three IADVL textbooks.
