SRINAGAR: Minister for Agriculture Production, Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Cooperative and Election Department, Javid Ahmad Dar, today directed the concerned officers to accord highest priority to public grievances and ensure their prompt, time-bound and effective redress.
The Minister issued the directions while interacting with the individuals and delegations who called on him and apprised him of various issues concerning their respective areas. Assuring the delegations of necessary intervention, Javid Ahmad Dar said that all genuine issues would be taken up with the concerned departments and authorities for appropriate action.
The Minister directed the officers to adopt a proactive, responsive and people-centric approach in addressing the public concerns and ensure that no genuine grievance remains unattended. He called for close inter-departmental coordination and regular monitoring of pending issues to expedite their resolution and eliminate avoidable delays.
Emphasising the need to strengthen development at the grassroots level, the Minister directed the concerned officials to take result-oriented measures for addressing issues related to basic infrastructure, roads, public utilities and other essential services. He stressed that development works should be closely monitored and executed efficiently to ensure visible benefits to the people.
Javid Dar underscored that responsive governance, accountability and timely delivery of public services are fundamental to strengthen the public trust in government institutions. He called upon the officers to remain accessible to the people, maintain regular field-level engagement and ensure that genuine public concerns are translated into concrete action and measurable outcomes.
