SRINAGAR: JKEDI Srinagar in Collaboration with S.P. Higher Secondary School (SP HSS) Srinagar, Conducts Junior Level Idea Challenge. Under the J&K Startup Policy 2024-27, the Jammu & Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI), District Srinagar, in collaboration with S.P. Higher Secondary School, Srinagar, organised the Junior Level Idea Challenge. The programme is part of JKEDI’s broader efforts to foster innovation, entrepreneurship and youth-led startups across the Union Territory.

The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from students representing seven different schools of Srinagar, who presented a diverse range of innovative ideas before the selection committee. Ajaz Ahmad Reshi, Principal, SP Higher Secondary School, Srinagar  was the Chief Guest on the occasion. He appreciated the innovative concepts presented by the participants and congratulated them for taking their first step towards innovation and emerging as the startups of tomorrow.

The event was attended by distinguished experts and faculty members from various domains, including: District Nodal Officer, JKEDI Srinagar, briefed the participants about the J&K Startup Policy and the support ecosystem being provided by JKEDI. The Junior Idea Challenge provides a platform for students at the School and Higher Secondary levels to present their ideas along with mentorship and incubation support, helping transform promising ideas into viable entrepreneurial ventures.
