- Emphasises time bound, quality grievance redressal
ANANTNAG: Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Anantnag, Vikas Ahlawat, today chaired a review meeting at DC Office to assess the progress of grievances and complaints received through the JK SAMADHAN Portal.
During the meeting, the ADC reviewed the status of pending grievances and sought detailed feedback from officers on the action taken on complaints registered through the portal. Special focus was laid on quality grievance redressal and citizen satisfaction besides resolution of complaints pending for more than 28 days and above 60 days. The public must get the benefits of responsive governance which focuses on expeditious and quality grievance redressal, he remarked.
Ahlawat directed all concerned officers to furnish updated status reports and ensure timely disposal of pending grievances. He stressed the need for prompt, effective and citizen-centric grievance redressal, directing departments to resolve complaints within the stipulated timelines. He further emphasized that JKSAMADHAN serves as an important mechanism for strengthening citizen-centric governance and ensuring that public grievances are addressed efficiently and transparently.
The meeting was attended by SE Hydraulics, SDM Pahalgam, CMO, CAO, CAHO, CHO, DySP HQ, ARTO, Tehsildars, AD Tourism, Exens of various engineering wings, DYSSO, Tehsildars and officials from various concerned departments.
