JAMMU: The Cultural Wing of Department of Information and Public Relations today organised a cultural-cum-variety show in the premises of Sampark Border Road Organisation (BRO) on the 55th BRO Raising Day. On the occasion, Zee Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Winner from Mumbai Mr. Prashant Naseri and Indian Idol 2012 from Jammu Ms Indu Bala mesmerized the audience with melodious songs of Kishore Kumar, Mohammad Rafi, Mukesh and Lata Mangeshkar.
Chief Engineer Sampark Brig Battachariya was the Chief Guest. The two-hour long programme was coordinated by Mr. Vinod Sharma and Compared by Mr. Vijay Atri. The musicians included Mr. Kamal Sharma on Dholak, Mr. Ripun Kumar on Actopad, Sunil Sharma on Synthesizer, Lucky on Tabla and Darshan Kumar on Guitar. Speaking on the occasion, Chief Engineer Sampark Brig Battachariya thanked the Information Department for organizing the wonderful cultural programme on 55th BRO Raising Day.
Brig Battachariya extended his special thanks to Mr. Prashant Naseri who came to Jammu from Mumbai for enthralling the Jammuities. He also requested the Information Department to organize such programme in future also on the raising day of Sampark BRO in other camps.
