KUPWARA: To ensure smooth conduct of examinations for annual session 2014 (Regular) for 12th class being conducted in the district with effect from March 02, 2015 and to curb the menace of copying, unfair means and upholding the sanctity of the examination, District Magistrate, Kupwara has ordered imposition of Section 144 Cr. P.C in and around the examination centres. Any congregation of five or more people and carrying any copying material in or around these centres have been banned. This order shall remain in force till examinations are over in the district. However, the order shall not apply to security force and police personnel deployed for the purpose of maintaining law and order in nominated examination centres.
RAMBAN: In view of examination being conducted by Board of School Education for Higher Secondary Part –II examination annual session-2014 regular (winter zone) and annual session regular 2015 (Summer zone) in Jammu province, commencing from March 02, District Magistrate, Ramban Farooq Shah Bukhari has imposed restrictions in and around within 100 meter of all examination centres of the district Ramban. Use of loud speaker/any other form of PAS around the examination centres and smoking is also strictly prohibited. The order shall take effect from March 02 and remain in force till the examination concludes
BARAMULLA: A Lok Adalat was organized by the District Legal Services Authority Baramulla today which was comprised of three benches. First bench was headed by Principal District & Sessions Judge, Raja Shujat Ali Khan, who is also the Chairman District Legal Services Authority Baramulla, 2nd bench was headed by Additional Sub Judge Mr. Parveez Hussain Kachroo while 3rd bench was conducted by Sub Judge Baramulla. As many as, 107 cases of different nature were taken up during the Lok Adalat, of which, various cases were settled amicably on the spot.
