JAMMU: To spread awareness among general mass about dengue prevention a nukkad natak was performed by Lalded women welfare society(regd) on the subject is specially conceived and written by our social activist Rampaul Dogra and directed by Naveen Pal. The play was staged at Shakti Nagar on 19/9/15 as per Lalded women welfare society(regd) ongoing Saturday series.
In the story Ramu is tired and cannot work properly at his vegetable shop till late night due to fever. He has to work anyhow for his family but one day he complained of severe headache and fever, his requests to take rest toady but he refused to follow. Meanwhile a similar case of his locality was reported affected as dengue case which make all of them frightened.
In next fine morning, the dengue cases further increased till Ramu goes for check up in the hospital. During compete check up, the Ramu’s case was declared dengue due to his own negligence. However, doctor tells that prevention is the cure to this dengue virus. He also advised to other doctors to provide necessary treatment and medicines but patients having same need immediate medical checkup.
Meanwhile, the doctor appealed to people to remain alert and keep in touch with health department, in case symptom of high fever and severe headache could be detected which may be dengue. Those acted were Rampaul (Social activist, coordinator) and Naveenpal (Director), Santosh Basotra, Anju etc. The nakked play was appreciated by audience on spot after
