KATHUA: Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages (JKAACL) today organized Hindi Mushaira at New Age Degree College, Billawar in connection with Hindi Diwas Celebrations. SDM, Billawar, Rajeshwar Singh Charak was the chief guest and prominent poet Vidya Rattan Sharma presided over the function.

Tehsildar Billawar Vishavjeet Singh, Principal, New Age Degree College, Billawar Prof. Neeru Rajput, and Additional Secretary, J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages Dr Arvinder Singh Amn, were also present in the presidium. Vidya Rattan Sharma complimented the poets for their poetry. He also appreciated JKAACL for organizing the mushaira at Billawar.

SDM Billawar Rajeshwar Singh Charak, said that JAACL has done appreciable work in bringing cultural activities to remote and rural areas of the all the districts of Jammu region. Dr Arvinder Singh Amn informed that a Hindi Kahani Goshthi will be conducted at Government College for Women, Parade on 14th of September, 2015 while concluding function will be organized at Degree College, Reasi.

Those who recited their poems included Arun Kerni, Paramjit, Manjit Singh, Pankaj Dogra, Gulshan Iqbal, Ms Sheetal, Ms Bilkis akhtar, Mrs Sunita Sharma, Ashok Ambar, Manzoor Ahmad Lufti, Kishori lal, Pawan Dev Billawaria, Raj Billawaria, Sanjeev Sharma, Ramesh Balotra, Mir Qasim, Hem Raj, Girdhari Lal Afsos, Lali Das Sharma, Vidhya Rattan Sharma, Sudha Sharma and Arun Kerni.
