JAMMU: The Division Level Kala Utsav of Jammu Division concluded today at Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Shastri Nagar, wrapping up two days of artistic resonance and youthful brilliance. The event, a confluence of culture and creativity, celebrated the expressive spirit of students who transformed imagination into performance and performance into poetry.
Organised under the guidance of Director School Education Jammu Naseem Javaid Chowdhary, and under the supervision of the Chief Education Officer Jammu Ajeet Sharma, the festival presented a living testament to how education, when fused with art, can shape not only intellect but identity.
Over the two days, participants from across the districts of Jammu division presented a magnificent tapestry of performances in music, dance, theatre and visual arts, each narrating a fragment of India’s cultural continuum through rhythm, movement and colour.
In his message, the Director School Education Jammu lauded the young artists for embodying the essence of creative discipline and cultural inheritance. He noted that Kala Utsav is not merely a competition but a communion — where the learner meets the lineage of learning and where art becomes the language of unity.
He further expressed gratitude to all the participating schools, mentors and jury members for nurturing this festival of expression with sincerity and grace, affirming that every child who dares to create, already wins. The winners in various categories were felicitated amidst applause, appreciation and a shared sense of achievement.
