DODA: Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD) Doda, Din Mohd Afaqi convened a series of meetings with Junior Engineers (JEs), Block Development Officers (BDOs) and field staff of the Rural Development Department (RDD) to review the ongoing development works across the district. The meetings focused on assessing progress, addressing bottlenecks and ensuring adherence to quality standards.
During the discussions, the ACD stressed the importance of maintaining high-quality execution of all works and directed JEs to visit work sites daily for close monitoring. He also instructed them to submit geo-tagged photographs to the ACD Office during each stage of execution to ensure transparency and real-time supervision.
The review meetings included detailed discussions on work allotments, tendering processes, and approval timelines, with directions to expedite all pending procedures. ACD Afaqi urged all BDOs and field staff to ensure timely completion of development projects before the onset of snowfall, so that essential works are not affected by weather conditions.
He further emphasized improved coordination among field functionaries, availability of required materials, strict adherence to work specifications and immediate resolution of technical or administrative issues. The ACD reiterated the need for accountability, regular reporting and meeting deadlines to achieve the districtâs development goals effectively.
