BISHNAH: To commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of the Iron Man of India, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Mera Yuva Bharat (MY Bharat) Jammu under the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India, organised the Sardar@150 Unity March – District Level Padyatra in Bishnah today with enthusiastic participation from youth, students, and local residents.
The Padyatra was flagged off by Hon’ble MLA Bishnah, Dr. Rajeev Bhagat, who appreciated the initiative for promoting national unity, community participation, and patriotic values among the youth.More than 600 youth and members of the public actively took part in the event, showcasing strong community involvement.
The event was graced by several distinguished guests, including Former MLA Bishnah Shri Ashwani Sharma, Shri Dhevinder Kumar (DDC Member), Anoop Giri Ji Maharaj, SHO Bishnah, Social Activist Shri Rinku Choudhary and Ashu Kumar. Their presence added inspiration and encouragement to the participants of the Unity March.
The Padyatra commenced from SIRAS School, proceeded to the Prachin Shiv Mandir, and culminated back at SIRAS School, symbolising a powerful journey of unity, devotion, and community harmony.
Students delivered impactful speeches and presented cultural performances, including patriotic songs that celebrated India’s unity in diversity. The gathering also collectively recited the National Anthem and Vande Mataram, further elevating the spirit of national pride.
Sushil Singh Charak expressed gratitude to the Chief Guest and all dignitaries, officials, volunteers, and participants for making the Padyatra a grand success. Anmol Bajaj, APA MY Bharat Jammu, played an important role in the overall coordination of the event. In the end, the dignitaries and participants hailed the efforts of MY Bharat in promoting National Unity and Integrity through initiatives like the Unity March.
