SAMBA: President of J&K Jatt Sabha, and Former Minister, S. Manjit Singh has expressed shock over the demise of veteran Bollywood actor, and ‘He-Man’, Dharmendra Kewal Krishan Deol, who died in Mumbai. He died at 89. The veteran actor was suffering from multiple ailments for the last several months.
In his message, Former Minister said that “His demise has left a deep void in the Indian cinema as he had inspired many youth from across the Country, and popularized Punjabi Jatts in movies for their brave, and melodious character.”
Being a youth from the village, he said that his contribution to the cultural heritage, and Bollywood is unmatched, and it will be remembered for centuries to come. “Hearing about the news about the passing away of one of the best actors in Indian cinema is not less than a shock, especially when a youth from an average family touches heights, and wins hearts of millions across the country and the world,” said S. Manjit Singh in his condolence message.
He expressed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul. He also prayed for the courage of the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss.
