IIM Jammu concludes Management Immersion Programme for MBA Students of IILM University, Gurugram

JAMMU: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu under the leadership of Prof. B.S. Sahay, Director, IIM Jammu concluded the Management Immersion Programme designed for the MBA students(Batch–I) of IILM University, Gurugram at its Jagti Campus on 31^st Oct 2025 at Dronacharya Classroom. The four-day programme, aimed to enhance managerial competencies, leadership skills, and industry readiness among the participants.The training program included 60 students of MBA program from IILM University.  They are accompanied by two faculty members from IILM University, Dr. Tushar Gahlaut and Dr. Sanju Rani.

In his address to the participants, Prof. Jabir Ali, Dean Faculty and Research, IIM Jammu, encouraged the participants to build upon their learning experiences at IIM Jammu and apply the knowledge gained to enhance their academic and professional pursuits. He urged them to reflect on the models and frameworks discussed during the sessions and explore ways to integrate them into their management practices. He further emphasized IIM Jammu’s commitment to enhancing learning not only within the Institute but also in institutions across the nation as part of its social responsibility by sharing best practices and fostering collaborative growth. He reiterated that developing a strong appetite for learning is key to both personal and institutional advancement.

The valedictory ceremony began with a welcome address and programme report by Dr. Kamakshi Sharma, Program Director, IIM Jammu who reflected on the four-day experiential learning journey. She emphasized the significance of managing strategic information and commended the participants for their enthusiasm and engagement throughout the programme. She expressed gratitude to all facilitators and participants for making the learning journey insightful and memorable.

This was followed by reflections from the participants, who shared their key takeaways and experiences. They highlighted that the sessions provided a deeper understanding of real-world business challenges, leadership development, and the importance of data-driven strategic decisions.

The event also featured the certificate distribution ceremony, recognizing the successful completion of the programme by the participants.The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Sumit Maheshwari, Program Director, IIM Jammu who appreciated the support of the faculty, participants, and the organizing team in making the programme a resounding success. The Management Immersion Programme provided the students of IILM University, Gurugram, with a comprehensive exposure to IIM Jammu’s academic environment, enriching their understanding of management education and best practices through a blend of interactive sessions, case discussions, and practical insights.
