REASI: A series of vibrant activities were organized today across educational institutions of Samba district as part of 150th anniversary celebration of Vande Mataram, fostering a sense of pride, unity and love for the motherland among students. The celebrations included special morning assemblies, collective singing of Vande Mataram, essay writing, debate, quiz, painting and slogan-writing competitions on the themes of patriotism and national unity.
A remarkable participation was witnessed across the district, with students from 872 schools actively taking part in the week-long celebration. Students showcased their creativity, knowledge and commitment to the ideals of the nation through thought-provoking essays, inspiring debates and colorful artworks depicting the spirit of India. The celebrations concluded with the collective rendition of Vande Mataram by students and teachers, creating a powerful atmosphere of unity and devotion to the nation.
