RAMBAN: Deputy Commissioner Ramban Mohammad Alyas Khan today chaired a meeting and finalized the arrangements for the forthcoming District level Padyatra to be organized on November 25, 2025 as part of the 150th Birth Anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and Rashtriya Ekta Diwas Celebrations. The meeting was attended by ACD, Shokat Hayat Mattoo; Deputy Director MY Bharat Doda/Ramban, Khushal Gupta; Tehsildar, Deep Kumar; Dy SP Headquarter, Waqar Butt; CMO, Executive Engineer JPDCL, PWD, CEO, MC Ramban and other concerned officers.
The meeting discussed in detail the necessary preparations, logistical requirements, route plan, security arrangements and coordination among the stakeholder departments to ensure the smooth conduct of the event. The Deputy Commissioner emphasized the importance of seamless inter-departmental coordination for smooth conduct of Padyatra being held as a tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and promoting the message of national unity and integrity.
The DC issued instructions to concerned departments for making adequate arrangements for traffic management, medical facilities, participation of youth and students, stage, seating plan and publicity besides overall event management. He stressed timely execution of all assigned responsibilities and directed officers to remain in close coordination throughout the event. The Deputy Commissioner called upon all departments to work in full synergy to ensure the successful and meaningful observance of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas in the district.
