BANDIPORA: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Indu Kanwal Chib, today chaired a meeting of the District Level Implementation Committee (DLIC) to review and approve cases under Mission YUVA at the Mini Secretariat, Bandipora.
During the meeting, a total of 91 cases were presented for consideration, out of which 67 cases were approved after detailed scrutiny by the Committee. The remaining cases were referred back to the concerned departments for further examination and submission of comprehensive feasibility reports.
The meeting also reviewed the overall progress of Mission YUVA in the district, including the status of cases forwarded to banks, sanctioned, disbursed, and rejected, to assess the implementation of the programme at the ground level.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the officers to ensure thorough verification of each case to maintain transparency, fairness, and accountability in the approval process. She reiterated the directions of the Chief Secretary, emphasizing that rehabilitated youth and terror victims must be actively covered under Mission YUVA to help them achieve sustainable livelihood opportunities.
Among others, the meeting was attended by the Additional Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, Zaffar Husson Shawl; Assistant Regional Transport Officer Bandipora, District Nodal Officer JKEDI, Cluster Head J&K Bank Bandipora, District Officer PCB, and other concerned officers.
