DODA: The Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) Doda Centre today organised an interaction with local media persons. During the meeting, led by DIO Rajinder Kumar Digra and DIO Nisak Ul Farooq, the media fraternity was encouraged to work in coordination and adhere to ethical standards to promote and spread the truth within society. Emphasis was placed on the importance of accurate reporting and the role of the media in maintaining public trust.
Additionally, the media was advised to disseminate factual information and maintain transparency in their operations. The officials also discussed potential guidelines for the media fraternity, collaboration with local authorities and the implementation of fact-checking procedures to prevent the spread of misinformation.
