SRINAGAR: In a landmark event resonating through Kashmir's spiritual history, a galaxy of revered religious personalities, deeply rooted in Aitqaad, Fiqa, and Tasawwuf, convened at the conference chamber of Tagore Hall. Led by Khwaja Farooq Renzushah, Chairman of Kashmir Society International & Sufi Samvaad wa Saadat, and Moulana Adil Noorani, President of Faizan e Mustafa, the initiative launched the dynamic "Tehreek e Dawat Tasawwuf." This movement aims to revive and safeguard the 700-year-old mission of Kashmir's Awliya, beginning from the times of Hazrat Bulbulshah R.A. and Hazrat Amir e Kabir Hazrat Syed Ali Hamdani R.A.
The conference saw the esteemed Sajadah Nisheens of Chrar Sharief, Dastagir Sahib, Makhdoom Sahib, Tujar Sharief, Bulbulshah, Shah Hamdan, Janbaaz Wali, Reshi Moul, along with revered Ulama of Tasawwuf Scholars, Mufties, Mujawirs, and Imams from all Fiqa, taking an oath to foster unity and brotherhood. The unanimous appreciation for Khwaja Farooq Renzushah and Moulana Adil Noorani's initiative underscored its urgency in preserving Fiqa unity through the enrichment and revival of Tasawwuf teachings propagated by Kashmir's Sufi Awliya and saints.
Participants were designated as the Majlis Amila core Rukun body of Tasawwuf, and devotees linked to all 1100 Sufi Shrines of Kashmir were appointed as Members of the General Council of "Tehreek e Dawat Tasawwuf" in Jammu and Kashmir. The esteemed Sajadah Nisheens, Ulama, Mufties, and Mujawirs present were appointed as Chief Muntazim (Muntazim Aala) of their respective shrine ideologies under the spiritual jurisdiction of Sufi Awliya in their areas.
Notably, the Supreme Tasawwuf Committees, led by scholars steeped in the legacy of Kashmir's Awliya, were established, with the Rukuns of Dawat e Tasawwuf Tehreek, including new-generation Tasawwuf Scholars, playing pivotal roles. The initiative will promote the Sufi kalams of past and present Awliya and organize conferences on Saadat in every corner of Jammu and Kashmir, fostering unity and spiritual enrichment under the timeless sway of Awliya such as Bulbulshah and Shah Hamdan.
The foundational Rukuns of Majlis Amila of Tehreek e Dawat e Tasawwuf, including Khwaja Farooq Renzushah, Adil Noorani, Chief Muntazameen Aala Jenab Younis Ahmad Haji Reshi Mutwali Aala Holy Chrar Sharief Sheikh UL Aalam, Mudasir Ahmad Qadri Chief Khatmi Nabuwat, Peerzada Syed Noorani Naqashbandi Chief Mashaikh Board, Peerzada Shahid Jeelani Chief Mahboob Ul Aalam Hazrat Hamza Makhdoom Raina Trust, and others, reaffirmed their commitment to this spiritual movement.
The conference marked a significant step towards preserving Kashmir's rich spiritual heritage and promoting communal harmony through the teachings of its revered Sufi Awliya.
