SHOPIAN: Continuing its sustained efforts to bring absconding offenders to justice, J&K Police have apprehended one absconder who had been evading arrest since 2010 in Shopian.
After consistent and dedicated efforts, J&K police succeeded in arresting Mohd Imran Wani resident of Gadri Mohalla Shopian, presently residing at Chawalgam, Kulgam. The accused was wanted in FIR No. 475/2010 under sections 379, 353, 336 RPC, 6 Forest Act of Police Station Shopian.
The accused had been deliberately evading the due process of law since 2010. The arrest marks a significant success in J&K Policeās ongoing drive to trace and apprehend long-term absconders, reaffirming its commitment to justice and accountability.
The arrested individual have been produced before the Honāble Court of Law for further legal proceedings. J&K Police reiterates its firm resolve to uphold the rule of law and ensure public safety by acting decisively against those attempting to evade justice.
