BANDIPORA: As part of the ongoing Janjatiya Gaurav Varsh (JJGV) campaign, a series of Jan Sunwai (Public Hearing) sessions were held across Bandipora district to ensure effective public outreach, grievance redressal, and awareness regarding government welfare schemes.

On the occasion, the Assistant Commissioner Panchayat (ACP) Bandipora conducted multiple Jan Sunwai camps at Baduaab, Tulail, Buglinder, Gund Gul Sheikh, Husangam, and Malangam, where local residents raised various issues related to basic amenities, service delivery, and welfare programmes. Several grievances were resolved on the spot, while others were recorded for follow-up with the concerned departments.

Similarly, a grievance redressal session was held at Chandaji Adi Sewa Kendra, attended by Nodal Officer (Tehsildar Bandipora), during which citizens interacted with officers and shared concerns related to developmental works and social welfare schemes.

At Panchayat Chittibandey, a Jan Sunwai session was led by District Level Master Trainer (DLMT) assisted by the BLMT, VNO, and field teams. Residents actively participated and raised issues concerning essential services and government entitlements. The team also conducted an awareness session on various flagship initiatives and welfare programmes.

A special Gram Sabha was held at Adi Sewa Kendra, Panchayat C.A. Khan, Block Arin, under the supervision of the Assistant Commissioner Development Bandipora, who also serves as the Nodal Officer for public hearings under the JJGV campaign.  The event provided a platform for community members to discuss developmental priorities and highlight key local issues.

At Aragam Gojarpati Sewa Kendra, the event began Jan Sunwai session and awareness activities. Similar grievance redressal programmes were also organised at Chittibandey B and Chountimulla Panchayats, witnessing enthusiastic participation from residents.

Similar Jan Sunwai sessions and Special Gram Sabhas were also held at other Adi Sewa Kendras across the district, where officers and field teams interacted with residents, listened to their grievances, and raised awareness about various government schemes. 

These sessions witnessed enthusiastic participation from local communities and ensured on-the-spot redressal of issues, reflecting the administration’s commitment to responsive governance and community-driven development under the Janjatiya Gaurav Varsh campaign.
