AWANTIPORA: Continuing its efforts to maintain peace and strengthen security measures, police in Awantipora, in a joint operation with security forces, launched cordon and search operations (CASO) at various suspected locations across the police district to dismantle terror ecosystem.
The operation was carried out in a well-coordinated manner under the supervision of SSP Awantipora. The primary objective of the operation was to track down terror associates, elements linked with J&K-based (JKNOPs) networks, and UAPA accused persons, besides verifying suspicious movements to ensure peace and public safety.
During the searches, identity verification of several individuals was conducted, and suspicious premises were thoroughly checked. J&K Police affirmed that such joint operations will continue in the future to ensure peace, strengthen public security, and curb the activities of anti-social and anti-national elements.
