REASI: Deputy Commissioner Reasi Nidhi Malik today launched the Sewa Parv 2025 with the inauguration of a series of activities to mark the beginning of the fortnight-long program scheduled from 17th September to 2nd October 2025. The program commenced with a plantation drive and cleanliness drive in the District Hospital premises and the Nursing College. Officers from across line departments, students and youth volunteers participated in the initiative. A Swachhta Pledge was also taken by all present, reaffirming their commitment to a clean and green Reasi.
The Deputy Commissioner inspected the medical stalls put up by the Health Department, offering services including OPD consultation, disease testing and screening. A blood donation camp was also organized at the site. Later, the DC also visited Sula Park, where a plantation and cleanliness drive was jointly organized by the Forest and the Social Welfare Departments. The DC led the plantation activity and participated in the cleaning of the park as well as the surrounding water sources with active involvement of district and sectoral officers.
The dayâs activities concluded with a cleanliness drive at the DC Office Complex, where officers and officials, led by the DC herself, participated in ensuring a clean workplace. Parallel to the district-level activities, Sewa Parv 2025 was also launched across all subdivisions and blocks of Reasi.
The Deputy Commissioner emphasized the importance of collective responsibility in ensuring environmental protection, cleanliness and community service, while urging citizens to actively take part in the upcoming programs under Sewa Parv 2025. ADDC Sukhdev Singh Samyal; CPO Narinder Kumar, DSEO, CMO, CEO, DSWO and other district officers were also present.
