BARAMULLA: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Baramulla, Minga Sherpa today chaired a detailed review meeting of the Revenue Department to assess Revenue Matters, pending land acquisition cases, Pendency of rental cases, and public grievances. During the meeting, officers presented updates on land identification for the proposed Anganwari Centre and progress on digitization of records.

The DC directed officers to expedite resolution of all pending rental matters to ensure timely completion and address related public grievances. He further instructed officers to complete identification and allocation of land for the proposed Anganwari Centre at the earliest, ensuring proper documentation and accuracy in records.

Regarding land acquisition cases, the DC emphasized prompt verification of documents and disbursal of compensation to rightful beneficiaries without delay. Highlighting the importance of efficiency and transparency, the DC stressed that digitization of records should be completed within stipulated timelines and maintained with high quality standards.

The DC also underscored citizen-centric governance, instructing officers to ensure timely redressal of grievances related to land, rentals, and compensation. The meeting was attended by SDMs, ACR, Tehsildars and other concerned revenue officers.
