KUPWARA: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Shrikant Suse today conducted an inspection of the ongoing construction work of the Cooperative Super Bazar Kupwara. He was accompanied by the Chief Planning Officer Kupwara, Executive Engineer, R&B Division Kupwara, and Deputy Registrar Cooperatives Kupwara.
During the visit, the DC took a detailed review of the progress and quality of work being executed at the site. The Executive Engineer informed him that the building, approved at an estimated cost of Rs. 4.24 crore, is at its final stage of completion and is expected to be completed within a weekâs time.
The DC appreciated the efforts of the executing agency for maintaining pace and quality of work and emphasized timely completion so that the facility can be dedicated to the public at the earliest.
He said that the upcoming Cooperative Super Bazar will provide a convenient and affordable shopping facility to the people of Kupwara and also boost the cooperative sector in the district. The DC directed the officers to ensure all finishing works, including electrical fittings and interior arrangements, are completed within the stipulated timeline.
