J&K Students Association condemns Delhi Blast Near Red Fort, expresses deep grief over loss of lives and injuries

SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Students Association has expressed profound grief, shock, and outrage over the tragic blast near the Red Fort in Delhi, which claimed the lives of eight innocent people and left several others grievously injured.In a statement issued, the Association described the incident as a barbaric and cowardly act that has not only taken precious lives but also shaken the collective conscience of the nation.

It stated that such acts of violence serve no purpose other than to spread fear, hatred, and instability in society.“We extend our deepest condolences to the bereaved families who have lost their loved ones in this horrific incident. No words can truly console their pain and suffering. Our heartfelt prayers are with them in this unimaginably difficult time,” the statement read.

The Association also prayed for the speedy recovery of all those injured and urged the authorities to provide every possible medical and financial assistance to the victims and their families.The Association appealed for calm, unity, and resilience, emphasizing that acts of terror or violence cannot weaken the spirit of the nation or the values of peace and coexistence.

“Such attempts to disturb communal harmony and the social fabric must be collectively rejected by every citizen,” it said.It further called upon the investigating agencies to carry out a thorough, transparent, and time-bound probe to ascertain the cause of the explosion and ensure that those responsible for this heinous act are swiftly brought to justice.Reaffirming its stand against all forms of violence and extremism, the Association reiterated that the loss of innocent lives anywhere is a loss to humanity as a whole.

It urged citizens, particularly the youth, to remain vigilant, uphold peace, and stand united against those who seek to divide or destabilize the country.Association added that, This incident pertains to national security and, therefore, it is imperative to maintain restraint, responsibility, and solidarity. “At this sensitive hour, we stand with the nation and express our deepest sympathies to all those affected,” it added.
