REASI: As part of the ongoing celebrations commemorating the 150th Anniversary of the iconic song Vande Mataram, the District Administration Reasi, under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner, Nidhi Malik, organized a series of “Salute to Mother Earth” Plantation Drives across the district.
The initiative, led by the Forest Department in collaboration with Schools, Colleges and the Government Offices, aimed to symbolize the spirit of reverence and devotion towards Bharat Mata through the act of planting trees.
The ceremonial plantation drives saw enthusiastic participation from students, teachers, officers and local residents, reflecting the community’s commitment to environmental conservation and sustainable development.
The event concluded with a collective pledge to continue such green initiatives, ensuring that the legacy of Vande Mataram inspires ongoing actions towards a cleaner, greener and more sustainable future.
