JAMMU: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Jammu & Kashmir General Secretary Gopal Mahajan, accompanied by Ved Sharma, Incharge All Cells, addressed a meeting of the convenors and co-convenors of all party cells at the BJP headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.

In his address, Gopal Mahajan lauded the efforts and commitment of the party’s various cells across Jammu and Kashmir, describing them as the “driving force” behind BJP’s expanding base and increasing vote share at the grassroots level. He said that the cells of the party are the bridges that connect the BJP’s ideology and welfare schemes directly to every segment of society.

He said that their continuous engagement with professionals, traders, employees, youth, and other sections has significantly strengthened our organizational network and voter base. He emphasized that the party’s success in previous elections owed much to the tireless work of these specialized wings that translated the government’s policies into people’s confidence.

Ved Sharma underlined the importance of strengthening coordination at the Mandal and Booth levels, particularly in view of the ongoing Nagrota and Budgam by-elections. He allocated specific responsibilities to various cells for voter outreach and urged them to undertake extensive door-to-door campaigns. He said that the focus must be on ensuring that every household is aware of the people-centric schemes sanctioned by the Modi government and the benefits reaching every section. He encouraged cell members to interact closely with the public, dispel misinformation, and help convert popular support into votes.

Convenors of various cells, including Sham Langer (Trade), Amit Manhas (Legal), Rajesh Thapa (Human Rights), Narinder Singh (Sanskritik), P.C. Sharma (Employees), Pawan Singh (Urban & Local Bodies), Bharat Bhushan (Tourism), Puneet Mahajan (Health & Medical), Deepak Gupta (Industry), Basant Raj Thakur (VDG), Balvinder Singh (Refugees), and Ashutosh Mahajan (Transport), along with Veena Bakshi, Pooja Malhotra, and other co-convenors, participated in the meeting.
