SHOPIAN:  J&K Police organized an interactive meeting with retired police officers and officials at District Police Lines (DPL) Shopian. The event was chaired by SSP Shopian, Shri Mushtaq Ahmad Choudhary-JKPS accompanied by DySP DAR Shopian Shri Mohd Ashraf and other senior officers/officials of DPL Shopian were also present on the occasion.

At the outset, the retired personnel expressed their appreciation for the initiative taken by J&K Police to organize such meetings. They acknowledged the significance of maintaining a continuous bond with the department and lauded the efforts aimed at ensuring the welfare of retired police personnel. During the session, several issues and concerns were raised by the retirees, which were patiently heard by the SSP Shopian. He assured them that all genuine concerns would be addressed on a priority basis. He reaffirmed that Jammu and Kashmir Police remains committed to the welfare of its retired personnel and their families.

In his concluding remarks, SSP Shopian extended heartfelt gratitude to the retired officers for their dedicated service and invaluable contributions. He emphasized that the department will always recognize their sacrifices and commitment during their years of active service. He further urged them to consider the police department as their extended family and feel free to reach out in times of need or assistance.

The meeting concluded on a positive and emotional note, reinforcing the spirit of solidarity, respect, and continued association between the police department and its retired members.
