JAMMU: Members of the Bua Baba Committee from Baba Talab  met with Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha at Raj Bhavan. During the meeting, Dr. Nirmal Singh, the head of the committee, presented a picture of Baba Jitto and Bua Kaudi to the Lieutenant Governor. The primary focus of their discussion was on the development and upkeep of Baba Talab, a revered site associated with Baba Jitto and Bua Kaudi.

Dr. Nirmal Singh highlighted several concerns, particularly emphasizing the need for improved cleanliness and security measures at Baba Jitto's Amrit Sarovar. He expressed regret that recent neglect had led to tragic incidents, including the drowning of a child in the pond last month. To prevent such accidents in the future, he urged the Lieutenant Governor to consider installing protective grills around the Amrit Sarovar.

Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha attentively listened to the committee's concerns and assured them of his commitment to addressing these issues. He pledged efforts towards the development and enhancement of Baba Talab, acknowledging its cultural and religious significance to the community. The meeting underscored the committee's proactive stance in advocating for the preservation and improvement of sacred sites, ensuring they remain safe and accessible for all devotees and visitors.
