GANDERBAL: Police in Ganderbal conducted a mass disposal drive of the seized drugs. The District Level ‘‘Drug Disposal Committee, Ganderbal’’, destroyed huge quantity of the seized drugs & psychotropic substances, worth lacs.
The contraband and psychotropic substances that were seized in 23 NDPS cases of district Ganderbal were disposed of, after obtaining proper permission from the competent court, through incineration method at Kashmir Health Care System, IGC Lassipora. All the contraband substances were destroyed in presence of the magistrate.
The mass disposal of seized drugs is a significant step towards our commitment to eradicate drug abuse from the society. J&K Police will continue to work tirelessly to combat the drug abuse and ensure a safer and healthier environment for our citizens.
