BANDIPORA: Police in Bandipora conducted a public outreach meeting at Bonakote village under the jurisdiction of Police Station Pethkote. The meeting was chaired by SSP Bandipora Shri Ajaz Ahmed Zargar-JKPS, aimed at providing a platform for local residents to voice their grievances, concerns, and suggestions related to policing and community welfare. The meeting was also attended by DySP Hqrs Bandipora and SHO PS Pethkote.

During the interaction, SSP Bandipora engaged with community members on issues pertaining to law enforcement, public safety, crime prevention, anti-drug efforts, and welfare initiatives. The participants shared various concerns and also offered constructive suggestions to strengthen police-public cooperation. SSP Bandipora assured the attendees of timely redressal of their grievances through proper institutional mechanisms, those grievances pertaining to police will be resolved on priority and those pertaining to civil administration will be taken up with concerned for timely redressal.

During the interaction, SSP Bandipora stated that we are committed to intensifying our efforts against anti-national elements and terrorism to ensure peace and security in the district. Community support is crucial in this fight, and we appeal to residents to cooperate with law enforcement for a safe environment. He further reiterated the commitment of Police to work in close coordination with the community for maintaining peace, ensuring public safety, and creating a drug-free and crime-free environment in the district. The participants appreciated the proactive approach of Police in reaching out to the community and strengthening public trust through such interactive platforms.
