BARAMULLA: The Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Pattan, Gulzar Ahmad today inaugurated the Sampoornata Abhiyan programme in Aspirational Block Singhpora, marking a significant milestone in the region's socio-economic development.
The initiative aims to achieve 100% saturation in six key social sector indicators, including healthcare, education, nutrition, and more. The campaign will cover Aspirational Block Singhpora and is part of the larger Sampoornata Abhiyan programme launched by NITI Aayog, spanning 112 Aspirational Districts and 500 Aspirational Blocks nationwide.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Assistant Commissioner Development Shabir Ahmad Hakak, Misbah Shah (State Nodal Officer, J&K, NITI Aayog), Chief Education Officer and other senior officers. SDM Pattan emphasized the importance of collective efforts and community engagement in achieving the objectives of Sampoornata Abhiyan.
The event also featured exhibition stalls showcasing schemes designed to empower local residents, and SDM Pattan distributed soil health cards among farmers, highlighting the campaign's focus on sustainable agricultural practices and soil health management techniques.
