SAMBA: The Government Degree College Ramgarh under the guidance of the Principal Dr. Meeru Abrol, organized the live screening of the address by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on the inauguration of the year-long commemoration of 150 years of the National Song “Vande Mataram”.
Faculty members, staff and students of the college enthusiastically participated in the event and listened to the Prime Minister’s inspiring message highlighting the historical and cultural significance of Vande Mataram. The address emphasized the ideals of unity, patriotism and respect for the nation’s heritage.
The program was coordinated by Dr. Anjana Raina and Dr. Susheel Kumar, who ensured smooth organization and active participation of students and faculty members.
Faculty members Dr. Snober Chib (Department of Punjabi), Prof. Sandeep Kumari (Department of Education) and Dr Shivali Panjgotra (Department of EVS), Prof. Ashok Kumar, Dr Neha Bharti and Prof. Darpan Malhotra were also present and actively participated in the event. The event concluded with a mass singing of the National Song “Vande Mataram,” echoing the collective sentiment of national pride and gratitude.
