JAMMU: In a significant achievement, the Department of Agriculture Jammu was awarded the 2nd Prize in the Public Sector Category for its outstanding display of the KKG Stall at the closing ceremony of the National Agriculture Summit and Farmer Fair held today. Member of Parliament Rajya Sabha Gulam Ali Khatana was the Chief Guest at the closing ceremony.
The event, organized at SKUAST-Jammu, brought together prominent agricultural experts and farmers from across the Jammu region to discuss innovations and solutions for enhancing agricultural productivity. The fair provided a valuable platform for farmers and agricultural professionals to showcase cutting-edge technology, farming practices, and agricultural products.
The KKG Stall, meticulously designed by the Department of Agriculture, highlighted a range of initiatives, technologies, and innovations aimed at providing farmers with essential services and information to improve their farming practices. Kisan Khidmat Ghar (KKG) serves as a one-stop solution for agriculture and allied sectors, offering a comprehensive range of services to farmers at the Panchayat level. The stall garnered attention for its detailed display of advanced techniques and practical solutions tailored to the farming community.
