7th edition of the Smart India Hackathon (#SIH2024) will concurrently begin on 11th December, 2024 at 51 centers nationwide
JAMMU: In a remarkable display of talent, creativity, and technical expertise, the Smart India Hackathon 2024 (#SIH2024) organized its national-level competition, bringing together bright young minds from universities across India to tackle some of the country's most pressing challenges using technology and innovation. In an exhilarating display of innovation and technical skills, Central University of Jammu had organized internal hackathon in the university on 5th September.
Central University of Jammu under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Sanjeev Jain has long been committed to encouraging students to explore their potential in the fields of technology and entrepreneurship. For now, all eyes are on the upcoming finale, where the team hopes to make their mark and bring home the trophy. The hackathon may have ended, but for the students involved, this is just the beginning of what promises to be a bright future in the world of tech.
Prof. (Dr.) Rakesh Kumar Jha, President, Institute Innovation Cell (IIC) along with the office staff (IIC) Mr. Naveen Kumar (OA) and Mr. Bittoo (OA) have expressed their gratitude towards participants to perform well for the upcoming finale and also encouraged the students to participate in such competitions in the future to represent Central University of Jammu on such great platforms.
Having won the local round, ‘Bugs Breaker’ will now compete against top university teams from across the country in the Grand Finale, which will be held in Kottayam (Kerala). The team composed of Satyam(Team leader), Sukriti, Utkarsh, Vanshaj, Prachi and Eshwar, demonstrated not only their technical abilities but also their creativity and passion. The event, scheduled from 11th to 15th Dec 2024. As ‘Bugs Breaker’ prepares for the Grand Finale, the entire university community stands behind them, offering support and encouragement.
