AWANTIPORA: As part of the ongoing Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyaan, Police continued its efforts to spread awareness against drug abuse and intensify action against narcotics related activities across the PD Awantipora.
A drug awareness programme was organised at Government Middle School Sharshalli, where students and participants were sensitised about the harmful effects of drug abuse and the importance of leading a healthy and responsible life.
Another awareness programme was conducted at Islamia Hamdaniya High School Tral, aiming to educate students and staff regarding the dangers associated with substance abuse and encouraging collective efforts towards building a drug free society.
Meanwhile, narcotics related raids were also conducted in Hariparigam and Dogripora as part of the sustained drive against drug trafficking and related activities.
