• Prominent NC leaders, trade unionists and social activists join BJP at Srinagar

SRINAGAR: Several prominent leaders, trade union representatives, and social activists joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) during a grand joining programme organized at Jawahar Nagar, Srinagar.

The joining programme was held in the presence of J&K BJP General Secretary (Organization) Ashok Koul, J&K BJP General Secretary Mohammad Anwar Khan, J&K Waqf Board Chairperson Dr. Darakhshan Andrabi, J&K BJP Secretaries Arif Raja and Mudasir Wani, along with District President Adv. Sheikh Salmaan.

NC Leaders Danish Riyaz Dar, Tariq Sofi, Mushtaq Dar, Mohd Rafeeq, Senior Trade Union Leader Shabir Ahmad Langoo and Former Senior Trade Union Leader, Chairman Non-Gazetted Employees Union J&K Saeem Bazaz, Mohd Yousuf Zargar VP Bhartiya Krishak Samaj, Muneer Langoo and Sanoor Choudary Social Activist joined BJP on the occasion.

Ashok Koul, while welcoming the new entrants, said that the massive joining programme reflects the growing confidence of the people of Kashmir in the policies, leadership, and vision of the BJP. He stated that people from every section of society are associating with the party because BJP stands for development, peace, transparency, and equal opportunities for all regions and communities.

Ashok Koul said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Jammu & Kashmir has witnessed unprecedented developmental initiatives, improved infrastructure, enhanced grassroots democracy, and empowerment of youth and marginalized sections. He added that the BJP is committed to ensuring prosperity and lasting peace in Kashmir and welcomed the new entrants into the party fold.

Mohammad Anwar Khan, speaking on the occasion, said that the joining of prominent social and political figures into BJP demonstrates the changing political mood in Kashmir. He emphasized that BJP is emerging as a strong voice of the common people in Kashmir and assured the new members that they would be given full respect and opportunities to serve society through the party platform.

Dr. Darakhshan Andrabi, speaking on the occasion, said that people are rejecting divisive politics and are supporting the BJP for its agenda of inclusive development, accountability, and public welfare.

The newly joined members expressed faith in the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said that they were impressed by the developmental works and people-centric policies implemented by the BJP government. They pledged to strengthen the party at the grassroots level across Kashmir.
