Anil Sharma congratulates Devyani Rana, pledges full support to newly elected Nagrota MLA

JAMMU: Anil Sharma, Independent Candidate from the Nagrota Assembly Constituency, warmly welcomed the verdict of the voters who have elected Ms. Devyani Rana as the new MLA.Extending heartfelt congratulations, Anil said that the people of Nagrota have spoken with clarity, and their decision must be honoured by everyone who contested the election.

He assured his full cooperation and support to the newly elected MLA.In his media statement, Sharma said, “The election is over now, and it is time for all of us to come together and respect the people’s mandate. In a democracy, the people are the real masters and the most honest judges. I fully respect their verdict and stand by their decision.” “My commitment to the people of Nagrota is not dependent on any position or result.

I will continue to work with the same honesty, and dedication.” he said.Sharma also congratulated the people, noting that the Nagrota Assembly Constituency had remained unrepresented for almost 7–8 years.He said it is a matter of satisfaction that the constituency now has a democratically elected representative again.He also stated that  I hold no ill will or bitterness towards any political opponent. Elections are temporary, but our responsibility towards the people is permanent.

I sincerely hope that all candidates who contested, along with the newly elected MLA will continue to work tirelessly for the welfare of more than one lakh residents living across the four blocks of the Nagrota constituency.Sharma concluded by assuring that he will always be available for the people of Nagrota and will continue raising issues, supporting developmental works, and contributing positively to the constituency.
