REASI: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Nidhi Malik chaired a crucial meeting here today to review the implementation of the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana. The scheme, aimed at promoting the solar energy use among households, has emerged as a key initiative in the district’s sustainable energy strategy.
In the meeting, DDC Nidhi Malik highlighted the importance of raising public awareness to ensure maximum participation and registration under the scheme. She called for intensified outreach efforts and directed concerned officials to educate the public on the multiple benefits of solar power, urging them to take full advantage of the program.
Further emphasizing smooth implementation, the DDC instructed the relevant authorities to streamline the registration process, addressing any challenges faced by applicants. The meeting also reviewed the current status of solar installations and outlined the roadmap for meeting the district’s targets under the initiative.
DDC encouraged all stakeholders to work collaboratively and proactively to empower residents with clean, sustainable energy solutions that align with the government's vision for a greener future.
