BANDIPORA: In a major security operation aimed at dismantling the terror ecosystem and its support structures, J&K Police launched a massive crackdown against the banned organisation Jamaat-e-Islami (JeI) across multiple locations in the district Bandipora.
During the coordinated raids, police teams searched the residential premises and other locations linked with JeI members and their associates. Incriminating materials, including documents and digital devices, were seized on the spot for detailed examination.
The raids were part of sustained efforts to trace, disrupt, and neutralize networks aiding terrorist and subversive activities in the region. âSeveral Jamaat-e-Islami members were questioned and bound down under relevant sections to prevent their further involvement in unlawful activities,â
