TANGMARG: A crime review meeting was held at Police Station Tangmarg under the chairmanship of SDPO Tangmarg. The meeting was attended by SHO PS Tangmarg, Investigating Officers, and other police personnel of the sub-division.
During the meeting, all under-investigation cases and inquest proceedings were thoroughly reviewed. The progress of each case was examined in detail, and emphasis was laid on ensuring quality investigation, timely filing of charge sheets, and proper documentation of evidence.
SDPO stressed upon the Investigating Officers to adopt a proactive approach in handling cases, maintain close coordination with the prosecution wing, and ensure speedy and effective disposal of pending cases within the stipulated time frame.
He further directed officers to strengthen surveillance on anti-social elements and intensify efforts against drug peddling and other crimes affecting public order. J&K Police reaffirm their commitment to uphold the rule of law and ensure safety and security of the public.
