SHOPIAN: The One Stop Centre (OSC), Shopian today conducted an awareness programme on the implementation of the National Tele Mental Health Programme (Tele-MANAS) at Shopian.
The Centre Administrator along with officials of the One Stop Centre awared participants about the objectives and benefits of Tele-MANAS, which aims to provide free, confidential and round-the-clock mental health support through the toll-free helpline numbers 14416 and 1800-1891-4416, as well as through mobile application and video consultation facilities.
Tele-MANAS pamphlets were also displayed and distributed among women, health workers, Anganwadi workers, school students and college-going girls to enhance awareness and promote mental well-being.
