SHOPIAN: Continuing its dedicated efforts against drug abuse under the ongoing Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyaan, police in Shopian organized a Candlelight March in the Keller area of the district in collaboration with Lambardars and respectable citizens from the locality.
The march witnessed enthusiastic participation from members of the community, youth and local elders, who joined hands with the police to spread awareness about the harmful effects of drug addiction and the need for collective action to eradicate the menace from society.
Candles were lit as a symbol of hope, unity and commitment towards building a drug-free society. Police reiterated its commitment to continue organizing awareness programmes and community outreach activities aimed at promoting a healthier and drug-free society.
