RAMBAN: In line with the implementation of Mission YUVA under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner Ramban Mohammad Alyas Khan, the Small Business Development Unit (SBDU) Ramban today organized a “Beyond Sanction Campaign” at the DE&CC premises. The programme was conducted under the supervision of Assistant Director Employment Ramban Amit Kumar.
As many as 20 applicants participated in the campaign. During the programme, SBDU officials listened to the grievances of the applicants and resolved several issues on the spot. Necessary directions were issued to the concerned sections for expeditious disposal of pending subsidy cases and facilitation of required training.
Key aspects such as digital and financial literacy, onboarding of stores on the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC), capacity building and other post-sanction components were deliberated upon to enhance the sustainability of beneficiary units. To motivate the participants, success stories of previous beneficiaries were shared, helping new applicants understand the process of establishing and sustaining their units effectively.
A question-and-answer session was also held, during which applicants raised queries regarding subsidy disbursement and training-related matters. The Assistant Director Employment assured that the department is committed to handholding applicants at every stage after sanctioning of cases. He encouraged them to raise any issues faced during the establishment of their units for timely redressal.
To further strengthen service delivery, 20 feedback forms were filled by participants to record their responses and suggestions regarding employment-related services. The department reiterated its commitment to ensuring timely grievance redressal and continuous support to applicants beyond the sanction stage, in line with the objectives of the campaign.
