POONCH: Deputy Commissioner Poonch Ashok Kumar Sharma today chaired a meeting to review the implementation of District Business Reform Action Plan (DBRAP), aimed at improving the ease of doing business and strengthening the industrial ecosystem in the district. All line departments participated in the meeting and shared updates regarding the implementation status of DBRAP reforms within their respective sectors.

A detailed review of key DBRAP indicators and sector-wise performance was undertaken. The General Manager District Industries Centre (DIC) stressed the importance of timely implementation of reforms, effective inter-departmental coordination and strict adherence to timelines to achieve the targets set under DBRAP. Special focus was laid on streamlining procedures, enhancing transparency and ensuring prompt service delivery to entrepreneurs and stakeholders.

The Deputy Commissioner highlighted the need for proactive efforts by all departments to create a business-friendly environment in the district. He directed the officers to identify and remove bottlenecks, strengthen digital service delivery systems and ensure that reforms are implemented in letter and spirit.

The departments presented their progress reports, outlining achievements, challenges and future action plans. Strategies to improve performance rankings and strengthen monitoring mechanisms were also discussed in detail.
