JAMMU: The Business School (TBS), University of Jammu organised an insightful lecture under its Alumni Connect Lecture Series on the theme “Investment Management in the Current Market Scenario”.
The lecture was delivered by Mr Navneet Sharma, a SEBI-certified Investment Advisor and entrepreneur, who shared his expertise on contemporary trends and strategies in investment management.
During his address, Mr Sharma highlighted the dynamics of the current financial markets, emphasising the importance of informed decision-making, risk assessment, and long-term investment planning. He also discussed emerging opportunities in the investment landscape and encouraged students to develop the financial literacy and analytical skills needed to navigate the evolving market environment.
The session offered valuable practical insights and helped students understand real-world perspectives of investment management. Speaking on the occasion, Prof Amisha Gupta, Director, The Business School, reiterated that the Alumni Connect Lecture Series aims to provide students with opportunities to interact with accomplished professionals and alumni who can share their industry experience and insights. She emphasised that such engagements strengthen the bond between alumni and the institution while enriching students’ understanding of contemporary business practices.
Prof Sameer Gupta, Professor in the area of Finance, presented the formal vote of thanks and appreciated the valuable insights shared by the speaker. The event was coordinated by Dr Farah Choudhary, Associate Professor at The Business School.
