During routine patrolling, a police team from Police Post Turkwangam intercepted and seized eight tractors involved in the illegal extraction and transportation of minerals without valid royalty documents. In this regard, FIR No. 78/2026 under relevant sections of law have been registered at Police Station Zainapora and investigation has been set into motion.
J&K Police reiterates its firm commitment to protecting the district’s natural resources and ensuring strict legal action against those involved in illegal mining.
