BARAMULLA: In a continued effort to strengthen police-public relations and intensify the fight against drug abuse under the ongoing Nasha Mukt Jammu Kashmir Abhiyaan, Baramulla Police conducted Thana Diwas/PCPG meetings across various areas of District Baramulla including Nowrang (Narandari), Bulbulabad (Kawhar), Kanthbagh, Sheerinabad, DPS Colony, Ganie Hamam, Khan Colony, Miyan Mohalla, Ganjipora, Dever, Khan Mohalla, Khasipora, Sultanpora, Hail Jageer, Check Saloosa, Darwa Frastihar, Dandmoo, Batoo, Gokhama, Zeeran, Gofbal, Asha, Nambalnar, Badian, Banali, Sahoora, Kassi, Mayan, Gowhalta and Barjala.
The meetings were organised under the ongoing Nasha Mukt Jammu Kashmir Abhiyaan to strengthen police-public coordination and spread awareness against drug abuse. During the interactions, members of the public raised issues related to road connectivity, power supply and water supply. The grievances were patiently heard and noted for appropriate redressal through the concerned departments. Police reiterated its commitment towards community policing and urged citizens to continue supporting the fight against drug menace for a safe and peaceful society.
