ANANTNAG: In a significant boost to ensure housing for citizens living in urban areas, 115 beneficiaries were awarded sanction letters for construction of houses under Centrally Sponsored Scheme PMAY-U 2.0 at Town Hall Anantnag, today. The sanction letters were handed over to the beneficiaries by the District Development Commissioner, SF Hamid in the presence of ADDC, CPO, CEO MCA and other concerned officials.
Speaking on the occasion, the DDC reiterated that the District Administration is committed to implement all beneficiary oriented and welfare schemes including the flagship CSS PMAY -U 2.0 in a swift and effective manner. He directed the ULB officers to create public awareness about PMAY-U 2.0 and sensitise them about procedural formalities in a proper and transparent way. Expressing their satisfaction on the move, the beneficiaries hailed the District Administration and concerned ULBs for extending the required benefits to them.
