KULGAM: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan, today conducted an on-site visit to the under-construction Brazloo Bridge a NH-444 project and steel girder bridge at Sakarsum Kawaki Bazar, Qaimoh, to review the progress of these important infrastructure projects. At Brazloo Bridge, the DC was informed that slab casting will begin shortly, besides underpass work has already been completed.
The DC instructed the executing agency to complete the work within the stipulated timeline and was assured that the bridge would be delivered on time. The DC also reviewed the construction of a 1×33 metre span intermediate lane steel girder bridge at Sakarsum Kawaki Bazar, being executed at a project cost of Rs. 6.10 crore.
It was informed that the physical progress of the project currently stands at 70%. The DC directed the executing agencies to ensure timely completion so that the projects can be dedicated to the public at the earliest. Accompanying the DC were ADC, ACR, ACD, Executive Engineers, Tehsildars, and other concerned officials.
